ABOUT ME


Years of Law Enforcement Experience 

LaTanya has over 18 years of Police/Supervisory experience and is currently an active-duty Police Officer (Lieutenant).


Education 

LaTanya received her education through Baltimore City Public Schools and is a High School Graduate. In 2010, LaTanya received a certificate from the University of Maryland University College after participating in a ten-month leadership program.


Law Enforcement Experience 

LaTanya joined a local Police Department in 2003 and attended a Six-Month Police Academy. LaTanya graduated from the Police Academy and received certification as a Police Officer through the Maryland Police Training Commission. Upon graduating from the Police Academy, LaTanya was assigned to the Patrol Division in North Baltimore where she answered various 911 calls for service that were generated from area citizens. LaTanya also investigated property crimes as well as crimes against persons. After spending several years in the Patrol Division, LaTanya was promoted with honors in 2010 to the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, LaTanya was responsible for supervising a squad of Police Officers within the Patrol Division in Downtown Baltimore. In 2013,  LaTanya was promoted with honors to the rank of Lieutenant. Newly promoted, LaTanya was assigned to the East Baltimore area where she held the position of Shift Commander. As a Shift Commander, LaTanya was responsible for overseeing a shift of Sergeants and Officers responsible for keeping residents, businesses and visitors safe in East Baltimore. As a Lieutenant, LaTanya has also held positions in Human Resources, and Information Technology. Currently LaTanya is assigned to the Special Investigations Section. In her role as a Lieutenant in the Special Investigation Section, LaTanya oversees a unit of Detectives and Sergeants that are responsible for investigating Child Abuse, Missing Persons and Human Trafficking cases.

LaTanya is President & Co-Owner of 1st Class Security Services. LaTanya’s duties within the company consist of overseeing the financial aspects of the business, business direction, maintaining personnel folders and assisting with the day-to-day operations and overall management of the company, etc.


Business Certifications

LaTanya is the Licensee Holder for 1st Class Security Services. She has also obtained MBE/WBE certification for the business through MWBOO, MBE/DBE/SBE certification through MDOT, and MBE certification through PG County SDDD.

ABOUT ME


Years of Law Enforcement Experience 

Reginald has 20 years of Police experience and is retired from the Baltimore Police Department.


Education 

Reginald received his education through Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public schools and is a High School graduate.


Law Enforcement Experience

Reginald joined the Baltimore Police Department in April 2001 and attended a Six-Month Police Academy. Reginald graduated from the Police Academy in October 2001 and received certification as a Police Officer through the Maryland Police Training Commission. Upon graduating from the Police Academy, Reginald was assigned to the Patrol Division of the Northern District. As a patrol officer Reginald answered numerous 911 dispatched calls for service that were generated from the community. Reginald investigated numerous calls for service involving illegal narcotic activity, assaults, thefts, robberies, trespassers, burglaries, and made arrests from the conclusion of most of his investigations. In 2005, Reginald joined the operations unit and worked in an undercover capacity. During this time, Reginald investigated several local narcotic dealers and area gang members. Reginald also wrote and/or participated in numerous arrest/search warrants involving narcotics and other felony and misdemeanor offenses. Reginald’s investigations led to several arrests of the most notorious drug dealers in Baltimore. In 2006, Reggie returned back to the Patrol Division in the Northern District, where he worked until he retired from the Baltimore Police Department in May 2021. During his time as a Baltimore Police Officer, Reginald has been the recipient of the Officer of The Month Award on two different occasions. Reginald has also received a Police Excellence Award, the Community Service Officer Award, and have numerous Appreciation Letters and Citations. Reginald also participated in Shop with a Cop every year while he was with the Baltimore Police Department. In July 2021, Reginald furthered his law enforcement career and excepted a position with the State of Maryland. Reginald is currently a Deputy Sheriff and responsible for protecting individuals and property at a local courthouse.

Military Experience 

Reginald is an Army veteran and proud member of "Hooah Nation". Reggie completed Basic and AIT training in Fort Jackson, SC. Reggie was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas during his time of service. Reginald later received an honorable discharge for his service in the Army.

Reginald is Vice President & Co-Owner of 1st Class Security Services. In his role, Reggie provides oversight of all personnel and assists with the overall management and operations of the company.

Years of Law Enforcement Experience 

Gary has 20 years of Police experience and is retired from the Baltimore Police Department.


Education

Gary attended and graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools. Gary also briefly attended Baltimore City Community College and earned College credits during his time at the institution.


Law Enforcement Experience 

Gary joined the Baltimore City Police Department in November 2000 at the age of 20 and was assigned to the department as a Police Cadet. During his time as a Police Cadet, Gary worked in an administrative capacity and was responsible for taking incoming calls at the “Hot Desk” from Police Officers actively working on the street in a patrol or enforcement capacity. In April 2001, Gary attended and graduated from a Six-Month Police Academy with the Baltimore City Police Department and received certification through the Maryland Police Training Commission. Upon graduating from the Police Academy, Gary was assigned to the Patrol Division and worked in the Northern District in Baltimore City. While in the patrol division, Gary responded to several 911 calls for service such as shootings, arsons, robberies, thefts, etc. Gary further investigated those calls for service by conducting intricate interrogations, initiating door to door knock & talks, and if necessary, writing and obtaining arrest warrants/court summons. In 2005, Gary became a narcotics investigator and worked in an undercover capacity within the Northern District. Gary wrote and/or participated in search and seizure warrants and conducted lengthy investigations on local narcotic distributors during this time. Gary’s investigations on these offenders included gathering intelligence from informants, working plain clothes, orchestrating controlled purchase buys, and obtaining arrest warrants. Gary returned back to the Patrol Division in 2006 and worked there until he was assigned to the Asset Management Section of the Baltimore Police Department in 2017. While assigned to Asset Management, Gary worked at the Quartermaster Unit. Gary was responsible for outfitting police trainees who were new hires for the police academy, receiving and storing incoming police uniforms and equipment, data entry and receiving/disposing of uniforms and equipment of officers who were retiring and/or resigning. Gary retired from the Baltimore Police Department in February 2021 and has taken on a full time role within 1st Class Security Services.

Gary is Vice President & Co-Owner of 1st Class Security Services. In his role, he is responsible for Business Marketing, responding to RFP’s, Submitting Bids, Generating Business Contracts, etc.
