About Us
1st Class Security Services, LLC is a local security company based Maryland. Our company was formed in December 2011. We are Owned and Operated by Active and Retired Police Officers. Our company is led by a Minority Female, Mrs. LaTanya Brown. When 1st Class Security Services was formed, the Owners had a vision of providing unparalleled services to businesses seeking effective, affordable security solutions for their properties. 1st Class Security Services became licensed in Maryland in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, we applied for and later obtained business certifications from several State agencies within the State of Maryland.
In 2014 we began to market our services not only in Baltimore City but throughout the entire State of Maryland. As we advertised our security company and met various business owners, we were fortunate enough to start fielding calls from companies that were interested in our services. Looking to get our first opportunity in the security guard industry, we reached out to, and later met with a local prominent construction company, Armada Hoffler Construction Company (AHCC).
AHCC was seeking security guard services for a major construction project that they would be overseeing at the Harbor Point development in Baltimore. This project was scheduled to break ground in June 2014. After several meetings, 1st Class Security Services eventually reached an agreement with AHCC and signed a 2 year contract to provide 24/7 security guard services, for the construction of the Exelon Tower at Harbor Point in Baltimore. Since then, 1st Class Security Services has grown and has become a prime security contractor for several companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
